I'm a self-taught artist, born and raised in Brazil. I live near Annapolis,
Maryland, USA.
Artists statement:
"My method in art is to simply allow my moods to direct my creativity,
wherever it wants to go.
I feel that I'm merely an instrument through which the artistic process
evolves.
Through the use of bright, upbeat colors, I hope that my art is able
to transport the viewer above the daily grind
and into a world of freedom within. I love that my art seems to make
people smile." - Cris Melo

EXHIBITS:
I'm
an Internet artist. My customers are mostly comprised of very nice
people I've never met in person,
and my art lives in scattered places all
over the world, many of which I'll never get to visit.
I don't seek local exhibits or self-promotion. So far, the few exhibits
I've participated in
happened because I got approached by someone, or just stumbled upon
them:
St.
Johns College "Community Art Exhibition"
May 2 - 16, 1999 - Annapolis, MD
"Heliotrope Bouquet"
Anne Arundel Community College - Cade Art Gallery

Frida's death.

than 450 entries!)
